Universal in Nature. Equitable by Design.

I use my design and communication skills to help further strategic development of stories and products to be more inclusive of the world we live in.  In my current role, I utilize principles of human-centered design to solve complex problems, specifically in marketing the provision of consular services with the U.S. Department of State. My work requires me to prioritize the importance of a user's seen and unseen needs for safety and the ability to communicate with policy decision-makers through effective storytelling to ensure our users have equitable access to public resources.

When communities are historically and continuously denied access, we are denied entry to full participation within political, cultural and social life. When policy, strategy and program initiatives fail to address the components of socioeconomic contributors, there is no pathway for equity as the framework in design.  The way we think about the creative outcome of looking at complex processes and function should be universal in nature and equitable by design.

Studio Entry is where I’ll be sharing my ideas and work as a self-taught strategist and designer: I care about creating thoughtfully crafted programs, products and services while removing barriers when designing for people.

You can find me here - I’ll meet you at the entrance.
